HARDWARE / MECHANICAL DESIGN

CAD design.Give your idea shape.

Bring parts, enclosures, and assemblies into a coherent mechanical design, shaped around the way your product needs to fit and function.

WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH

Make the pieces work together.

A useful model starts with the real constraints: what goes inside, how parts meet, and how the design will be prototyped or made.

01

Parts & enclosures

Develop 3D geometry for individual parts and product housings, using the dimensions, interfaces, and constraints in your brief.

02

Assembly & integration

Coordinate related parts, board positions, mounting points, and access to connectors. Review how the assembly fits together.

03

Drawings & revisions

Prepare agreed views and exchange files, and refine the model around prototype feedback or manufacturing review.

HOW WE WORK

From the brief
to the handover.

  1. 01

    Understand the constraints

Review reference dimensions, internal components, materials, and intended production methods.

  2. 02

    Model & coordinate

Build the geometry and review fit, interfaces, and assembly decisions together.

  3. 03

    Refine & hand over

Incorporate agreed feedback and prepare the models and drawings for the next stage.

WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARD

Clear models. Useful design information.

  • Editable CAD files in an agreed format
  • 3D exchange files for review or production
  • Drawings and key dimensions within scope
  • Assembly notes and revision summary

The final deliverables, file formats, and support are agreed for your project before work begins.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we start.

Can you start from a sketch?

Yes. Sketches and reference images can establish the starting point. We will still need reliable dimensions and functional requirements before finalizing a model.

Will the files work with my manufacturer?

We agree on file formats and drawing needs with you before handover. Your manufacturer should review the design against its own processes and requirements.

Are simulation and certification included?

Not by default. Specialist analysis, physical testing, production tooling, and certification require their own scope and appropriate review. We do not treat a CAD model alone as proof of product performance.
